Following are a few early memories of Kae from her oldest brother Robert (Rob):
Kae and I went to St. Stanislaus Grade School Together (Kae was a grade ahead of me).  For lunch we would often go to Grandmother Marie Bojanowski's house on Chambers Ave., about a block away from the school.  Here we would get hot Lipton Chicken Soup and a sandwich.  To this day I still love that chicken soup!  
Kae and I also were members of The University Settlement where we had gym and arts and crafts type of activities.   On one of our projects Kae was  in charge of our group making hamburger presses.  We did so well that we soon sold out of the presses and had to make more for our neighborhood.
In addition, Kae also played a saxophone in the St. Stanislaus Grade School Band, while I was learning to play a clarinet.

Later, Kae was also very hospitable when Gloria (my future wife) and I used to visit her and Eddie in their Lorain apartment.  She was always asking if we(or should I say I) were hungry and very good at making us feel right at home.
I would like to conclude my early memories with a few versus I paraphrased from "Streams in the Desert":
"I walked a mile with pleasure,
She chatted all the way:
But left me none the wiser,
For all she had to say.

I walked a mile with sorrow,
And never a word did she say
But, oh the things I learned
From her silent ways that day"

I devoutly offer a prayer now for the soul of my sister Katherine Anne Turbett, that the Lord may nourish and take care of her in heaven.  May He let the perpetual light of grace shine upon her, and may she rest in peace.   Amen

Dear family and friends of Kae,
I went to high school with Kae and have wonderful memories of her. Kae was quiet but deep. She was an amazing friend. We shared many secrets and had lots of fun. 
She has transcended into the spiritual world. I will keep the beautiful memories in my heart and I know you will too! Kae is looking down from heaven.  I will look up
and know she is free from pain.

I knew Kae my whole life, her daughter Heidi and I are best friends. I’d spent most of my childhood in her home. She was the second mom I always needed. She was so kind and generous to me. She always let me stay at her house and was always feeding me. I can remember Friday nights were pizza night and I was always welcome. Her smile lit up a room and it was infectious. Her daughter has the same  smile. She was a wonderful woman and a great mom. I’m going to miss her but I know she’s in a better place and no longer in pain. Rest In Peace Kae.

She is survived by her siblings John, Robert, Mark and Charlotte Edwards; two children and their spouses Brian and Cathy Driver and Heidi and Damond Payton; 9 grandchildren; and several great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Burnell Edwards and Jeanne Bojanowski Edwards.
