Clyde C. Maggard, 80, of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away at his residence on Monday, January 24, 2022. He was a son of the late Joe and Eva Maggard. In 1959 he graduated from Liberty Center High School and married Judy Davis on June 21st of that year. Also in 1959, Clyde went to work for the K-Mart Corporation at the distribution center in Fort Wayne. He later transferred with K-Mart to Illinois, where he retired after 46 years of service. Clyde is survived by his wife, Judy Maggard; daughter, Kathy (Adrian) Carballo of Xalapa, Mexico; son, Kent (Karen) Maggard of Fort Wayne, Indiana; grandchildren, Steffany (Daniel), Clyo (Juan), Adriana (Alejandro), Alan (Lore) from Xalapa, Mexico, Loren from Indianapolis, IN, Ross from Louisville, KY, and Delaney from Grand Rapids, MI; and siblings, Cleo Sheesley from Cutler Bay, FL and Arnold Maggard from Kokomo, IN. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Gracie Smith from Lafayette, IN. Visitation will be held from 3-5pm on Friday, January 28, 2022 at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Funeral Home 120 W. Mill Street Ossian, Indiana 46777 with a time of sharing beginning at 5pm. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society.
