Nellie was born March 23, 1933, in Stavanger, Norway. She was the daughter of the late Anton and Marie Magnussen and the wife of the late John L. Larson.
Nellie’s passion was her membership and active participation in the Sons of Norway since 1959. She recently received an award for her 60 years of membership and service in the Sons of Norway. She enjoyed Norwegian festivities, cuisine and folk dancing.
Nellie is survived by her loving family: her daughter, Randi Brokvist, her nieces Anna Lynn Radoff, Julie Bockus, her nephews, Glenn Larsen and Bruce Larsen and her loving and devoted Dandie Dinmont Terrier, Bogie.
Memorial Service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 17, 2019, at Trinity Lutheran Church, New Smyrna Beach, Florida and her service will be officiated by Pastor Roger Prehn.
A graveside service for family will be held, at a later date, at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida.
