

Ralph Viti passed away on February 18th at Cape Canaveral Hospital at the age of 95. Born in Altamura Italy, he was the son of Philip and Erminia (DiGiorgio) Viti. Attending college prior to being called to serve his country during World War II and was a survivor of a German Concentration Camp. His greatest desire after the war was to start a new life in America. His pride and joy was his American born children. He was employed as a Silver Craftsmen at Baldwin Industries and a member of St Andrews Parish in Colchester Ct and Our Saviors Catholic Church in Cocoa Beach Fl. His passion was cooking and sharing a meal with his family and friends. Known by many as the Legend of 2100 towers his strength and independence attributed to his longevity. He will be remembered by his great capacity to love his family and friends. Survived by his daughter Diane Gromko and husband Michael of Colchester Ct, two grandsons Christopher Gromko and Wife Jeanette of Stamford Ct, Ryan Gromko of Manhattan NY and three great grandsons Maxmilliano, Raffaele (his name sake) and Alessandro Gromko all of Stamford Ct. He was predeceased by his son Philip Viti and his first wife Nina Viti. A recent widower of Rose Viti whom he shared his life with in Florida. He is also survived by his brother Vincent and his wife Aida, many cousins, nieces, nephews of Altamura Italy. He will be sadly missed by his special close friend’s Lilly Millano, Joan Calzerano and Frank Cavaliere of Cocoa Beach Florida.
