Fernando Cannaverde, 79, of Palm Bay, went to heaven to be with his beloved Diane, Feb. 14, 2012. Fernando was born in New Haven, Connecticut. He was a Quality Assurance Engineer for Perkin Elmer, Danbury, CT and was proud to work on the Hubble Space Telescope. He was married to Diane Giammattei and was survived by four sons; Fred, John, Paul and Joseph, seven grandchildren; Michael Matthew, John, Nicolas, Christopher, Fernando and Tatiana and one very special great granddaughter Torrance. He was a long time member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church of Palm Bay, where a Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1:00 pm Friday. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am to 1:00pm at church, Committal services will follow Mass at Fountainhead Memorial Park.
He will always be remembered as Timothy so aptly describes: “Therefore, an elder must be blameless, the husband of one wife, stable, sensible, respectable, a lover of strangers, and teachable. He must not drink excessively or be a violent person, but instead be gentle. He must not be argumentative or a lover of money. He must manage his own family well and have children who are submissive and respectful in every way.” (1Ti 3:2-4)
