She was born September 25, 1940, in Palestine, WV, a daughter of the late Chester Leroy and Margaret Cintilla (Sheppard) Hutchins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Donald Fouss; son Brian Fouss and two sisters, Bonnie Wisecup and Sharon Horner.
Janet was a homemaker and was a member of the Decatur Chapel Church in Little Hocking, OH. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, working outdoors and enjoyed life to its fullest.
Left to cherish her memory are her son, Andrew Fouss of Virginia; grandchildren Dakota Fouss, Madison Fouss and a special niece Mindy Whealdon of Belpre, OH and a host of friends who meant a lot to her .
Service will be 1 p.m., Wednesday, December 5, 2018, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Parkersburg with the Rev. Tim Lindsey officiating. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, Belpre, OH. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Humane Society of Parkersburg, 530 29th Street Parkersburg, WV 26101.
