It is with heavy hearts that we announce Brian’s passing. Born in Montreal, Quebec on April 1st, 1961, Brian died peacefully in the Palliative Care Unit of Nanaimo Regional General Hospital after a short, but courageous battle with cancer.
Brian is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Lisa O’Melia; sons, Shawn, Ryan, and Matthew. He also leaves behind to mourn his passing his brother and sister, Larry and Gail Kapusta, many extended family members, and a long list of friends. Brian will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
A Memorial Service will be held in Brian’s honour at 11:00 am on Friday, May 1st at Yates Reception Centre, 1000 Allsbrook Road in Parksville.
