John Carlton Loyd

John was born on November 30, 1950 in Louisville, Mississippi to Joyce Anne Black and Connie Mack Loyd. He graduated from Provine High School and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ. He retired from the Mississippi Air National Guard and was previously employed by Bellsouth.

John was a loving father and husband. He was also an avid music lover and drummer, who enjoyed hunting.

John is survived by his wife, Cathy Anita Loyd; sons, Brian Wallace and Tommy Wallace (Danette); grandson, Connor Wallace; mother, Joyce Jones; sister, Anne Barr; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Connie Mack Loyd.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 13, 2020 at 6:00 pm in the chapel of Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl, Mississippi.
