Janice J Orrick

MARQUETTE HEIGHTS ~ Janice Jean Orrick, 65, of 1049 East Brookview Lane, Peoria, passed away at 6:53 a.m. Friday, August 5, 2011 at her residence.  She was formerly of Marquette Heights.

She was born June 16, 1946 in Bloomington to Charles Ross and Mary Katherine (Babbs) Orrick.  Her parents preceded her in death.   She also was preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Darlene Orrick along with a great-niece, Mary-Haley Lowe.

Surviving are two brothers, Thomas Orrick and Lloyd (Marilyn) Orrick, both of Pekin; four nieces, Barbara Thompson of Memphis, TN, Lisa (Chris) Janszen of Washington, Brenda (Ed) Schwinn and Amy (Todd) Hasty, both of Pekin; one nephew, Doug (Kelly) Orrick of Pekin and several great-nieces and nephews.

Janice lived in Peoria and worked at PARC.

She was a former member of Pekin Emblem Club #424.  Janice participated in several bowling leagues in past years.  She was a member of the Chillicothe First Assembly of God.

Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, August 11, 2011 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.  Sister Norma Reiplinger, OSB will officiate.  Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.
