Laura "Betty" E. Rusch

"Laura Betty" grew up near Trivoli, graduating from Farmington High School and attending Penn Ridge Lutheran Church. She and Vern settled in Canton and Trinity Lutheran Church. In 1959 they moved to Peoria and joined First English Lutheran Church, where she taught Sunday School and participated in the Rebeccah Circle.

Vern and her siblings Glenn Knussman and Ruth Heuerman preceded her in death. Survivors include brother Edwin and Anna Knussman, Metamora; sons Dennis and Sue Rusch, Canton and Alvin and Lynn Rusch, East Peoria; granddaughters Margi and Nicolas Stevens and family, Canton; and Leslie Rusch-Bayer and Jeffrey Bayer and family, Eureka, as well as loving cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel, University and Nebraska in Peoria, will host the funerary proceedings on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 with visitation 9:30-11:00 a.m. and service at 11:00 a.m. with burial following at Penn Ridge Cemetery.
