Sandra Ann Kershaw

She was born November 26, 1945 in Monmouth, IL the daughter of Roy and Alyce Watson Wade. She married Stephen Kershaw on December 21, 1968.

Sandy is survived by her husband of fifty years; one daughter, Kristin Edwards of Peoria; one son, Jeffrey (Mandy) Kershaw of Tempe, AZ; five grandchildren, Brandon and Jordan Edwards, and James, Miriam and Isaac Kershaw; one brother, Terry Wade of Peoria; and one sister, Karen (Mark) Hines of Crossville, TN.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and one infant brother, James.

Sandy graduated with a BA from Monmouth College. She was a teacher at Elk Grove and East Peoria High.

She was a writer and co-author of the book, At the Feet of Ordinary Women.

Sandy was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church.

She was a voracious reader and loved the sport of tennis.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 am Monday, July 15, 2019 at Grace Presbyterian Church. Visitation will be one hour prior to services.

A private family burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens.
