Iris Wells

She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert Matthews and Alma Allen Matthews; husband, Hubert Jerry Wells; siblings, Louise Matthews, Eugene Matthews, Gwendolyn Cunningham, Robert Matthews, Jr. and Leander Matthews.

Iris is survived by her two children, Jerry Wayne Wells (Christine) and Tammy Annette Laws (Joe); two grandchildren, Angela Marie Laws (Jeremy Epps) and Eric Michael Wells (Cheyenne); two great-grandchildren, Summer Alise Laws and Lilah Rehana Epps; in-laws, Lucille Alexander, Larry Wells (Ivalene), Doyle Wells, Mary Elizabeth Parker, Donald Wells and Jimmy Wells; a host of nieces and nephews. Ms. Iris is the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Family and friends are invited to attend Ms. Iris' graveside service on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at 4:00 PM at Alexander Family Cemetery, Osborne Moody Road, Poplarville, Mississippi. Brother Walter Pierce will officiate the service.
