Judy, 70 passed away peacefully the morning of April 3, 2021 in Port Alberni, BC after a long battle with Cancer. Preceded by her parents, Judy leaves behind Daughter Nicole (Craig); Grandsons Jayden, Jordan and Riley; Sisters Barbara (Gary) and Anne (Rennie) as well as numerous Nieces and Nephews.

Judy was born and raised in Port Alberni, spending many summers at Sproat Lake with her family at the cabin. Judy is remembered by her daughter as an amazing, strong and independent single mom who made so many sacrifices but was able to provide a wonderful childhood and made Nicole the women and mother she is today. Probably the most special sacrifice was leaving her career when her first grandchild was born to become the worlds best grandma and be part of all three boys lives everyday. They were lucky to have her there shaping their lives.

Judy will be fondling remembered by many friends from through out her lifetime but none as much as the friends she made from Pioneer Towers. Her possie of ladies could be seen driving around town on many occasions just out living life. Judy quicky won the hearts of all the residents.

The family would like to send a special thanks to Dr White who was with her every step of her fight with cancer, to staff and volunteers of Ty Watson House who took amazing care of her and the Nurses, Dr’s and all the staff that helped Judy from the WCGH.

There is no service planned currently. In lieu of flowers please donate to Alberni Valley Hospice Society, 2579 - 10th Ave, Port Alberni, BC., V9Y 2P5 .
