John J. Venier, 73, of Port Charlotte, FL passed away July 17, 2011. He was born August 30, 1937 in Princeton, NJ. John was a General Contractor for over 30 years in Forked River, NJ. He retired at age 62 and moved with his beloved wife Sandra to Port Charlotte in 1987. John was an expert fisherman known to his friends as “Sheeps-head John”. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great neighbor.
John will be greatly missed by his wife of 51 years, Sandra; daughter, Jennie Venier (Ralph) of Forked River, NJ; sons John Jr. ( Linda) of Toms River, NJ, Dennis J. (Linda)of Niles MI.; sister, Rosella Kok of New York City, NY 11 Grandchildren & 4 great grandchildren, one niece and one nephew.
Memorial donations can be made to TideWell Hospice Inc, 12050 N. Access Road, Englewood, FL 33981. Arrangements were made in National Cremation Society of Port Charlotte.
