Robert J. Driscoll

Robert J. Driscoll, 78, of Venice, Florida formerly of Franklin and Wareham, MA passed away August 24, 2011. He was born June 25. 1933 in South Boston, MA and graduated from Boston Technical and from Northeastern University with a BS in Engineering. He served in Korea in the U.S. Army. Mr. Driscoll was employed as an Engineer at Raytheon Company for 37 years retiring in 1992 when he moved to Venice. He was a lifetime member and exalted Ruler of the Franklin BPOE.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 51 years Dorothy (Mortimer), a son Paul of Milford, MA; daughters, Lori Al Nabulsi of Salem, MA Carol Driscoll of No. Smithfield, R.I; sister, Connie Smolski of Burlington, MA; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Funeral Mass will be held Friday, September 2, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Wareham, Ma. Burial will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Bourne National Cemetery in Bourne, MA.
