Rich was born on March 26, 1946 in Great Falls, Montana to Rudy and Eileen Klesh. He grew up in Great Falls and attended Montana State University. He graduated in 1969 with a degree in Business Administration. He spent most of his life working as an Independent Food Distributor in Oregon.
Rich married Marylyn Ruckwardt on February 16, 1974. The two shared over 46 years of marriage together. Rich took great pride in coaching youth sports teams, as well as being a great husband and father. He always enjoyed watching his favorite sports teams, the Chicago Cubs and Notre Dame. He was also a faithful volunteer at the food pantry in his community.
Rich is preceded in death by his oldest son, Christopher Klesh. He is survived by his wife, Marylyn Klesh; son, Matthew Klesh; Grandson, Avery McMyne; great grandson, Rhyden McMyne; Daughter-in-law, Penny Brandon Klesh; brother, Ray Klesh; sister, Mary Jane Vann (David); brother in-law and sister-in-law, Carl and Jackie Ruckwardt; along with 10 nieces and nephews; and 11 great nieces and great nephews.
A Memorial Service is scheduled for Friday, January 22, 2021 at 10am at St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Beaverton for close family and selected friends. The service will be live streamed for those who cannot attend. Inurnment will be at Crescent Grove Cemetery.
