Jewell Jr F. Dunford

Born March 17, 1945 in Warriormines he is the son of the late Mathias Dunford and Ethel Mullins Dunford. He was 68 years old. Jr worked as a car salesman.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister Geraldine Bailey, his two brothers William “Bill” Dunford and Jay Bob Dunford.

Jr is survived by his three sons John Dunford and wife Denise of Ridgeway, VA; Greg Dunford of Greenville, NC; Trevor Dunford and wife Mirada of Kingsport, TN; daughter Sheila Swartz of Cheraw, SC; four sisters Ruby Palko of Bluefield, VA; Joe Price of War, WV; Alice Malloney of Norfolk, VA; Dolly Dunford of War, WV; six Grandchildren Cody Swartz, Austin Dunford, Gunnar Dunford, Macee Dunford, Blake Dunford and Brody Dunford. .

Jr’s visitation will be Thursday, January 2, 2014 at Roselawn Funeral Home and Cemetery from 1:00-3:00p.m. Graveside services will be held 3:00 p.m. at Roselawn Memorial Gardens with Reverend Gary Cope officiating.

Active pallbearers are Cody Swartz, Austin Dunford, Rick Dunford, Mike Dunford, William Ellis Riggs Sr., and Bobby Joe Riggs.
