Newman, Solomon, 87, of Barrington, RI, passed away Saturday, March 9, 2019. He was born in New York to the late Samuel and Yetta (Palmer) Newman. Sol was preceded in passing by his wife, Ceceil; son, Samuel Newman; and siblings, Irving, Meyer and Herbert Newman.
Solomon was a Sheet Metal Worker for Local 28.
Solomon is survived by his children, Deborah Greenspan and her husband Neil of Barrington, RI, Ira Newman and his wife Melanie of Howell, NJ, and Wendy Newman of Manalapan, NJ; grandchildren, Aaron, Julia and Benjamin, Falynn and Ashlee, and Zachary and Brooke.
A graveside service was held at 2:00 PM on Monday, March 11, 2019, at Mt Moriah Cemetery in Fairview, NJ. In lieu of flowers contributions in his memory may be made to Jewish Collaborative Services /Kosher Meal Site.
