Joan was widowed twice, to two wonderful men who loved her dearly, Russell Brazier and George Schnitzer, and she had the blessing to marry again to a very loving and kind man named Dave. She leaves behind her husband, Dave Kimble; son, Jeff and his wife, Angela, and their children, Jamey, Nicole and Nicholas; son, Scott and his wife, Julie and their children, Katie and Alex; and daughter, Barb Dawson and her husband, Jeff and their children, Justin, Jacob, and Dava.
A memorial service will be held 7:00 pm Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at Capital Oaks, 6498 Ray Road, Raleigh. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
