William George Lilac III, 72, of Reading passed away Thursday November 29, 2018 in Phoenixville Hospital. He was born in Reading on October 26, 1946 a son of the late William G. Jr. and Betty J. (Freese) Lilac.

William was an Army Veteran serving during the Vietnam Era. He is survived by his 2 brothers: Thomas C. and his wife, Kathy Lilac of Mohnton, James S. Lilac of Reading, his 3 nieces: Erin, Jennifer, Kristina, and his nephew, Tyler.

William was predeceased by his brother, Jack L. Lilac on January 18, 2018.

Services for William are private and under the direction of Theo. C. Auman Funeral Home, 247 Penn St., Downtown Reading.
