Marvin Bunish, age 70, of White Bear Lake, MN, formerly of St. Paul, MN, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 24th, 2019. Born July 3rd, 1948, Marvin is preceded in death by his father, Michael Bunish. He is survived by his mother Helen Bunish, daughter Christine (Nick) Schorr, brother Mark (Jodie) Bunish, and nieces Laura Bunish and Alyssa (Palmer) Held. After graduating from Johnson High School, Marvin served in the US Army as a helicopter mechanic from July 1966 to July 1969. Following his military service, he received a B.S. in Marketing at Mankato State University and an Associates of Arts at Lakewood Junior College. Marvin was interested in cars and repairing engines. He enjoyed reading, grilling, watching John Wayne movies and was an avid Minnesota Vikings and Twins fan. Marvin had a personal faith in Jesus Christ and attended several Evangelical Churches in the Twin Cities area. In keeping with Marvin’s wishes, there will be no public service.
