Age 53 of Minneapolis, MN, formerly Blue Earth, MN. Passed away June 13, 2019. Matthew loved helping people. He was the go to guy. He loved the energy of the auction and finding solutions for people. He was witty and positive. He saw the best in everything. He enjoyed the horse and hunt club, music, movies and hanging out with family and friends.
Survived by his wife, Cathy Johnson (nee Phegley); children, Mathias Johnson and Mercedes Johnson; father, Victor (wife Ellie); sister, Pam; brothers, Dana (wife Phoebe) and Jason; many beloved uncles and aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by his brother, Jordon Johnson and mother, Irene Johnson. Memorial Service will be held Saturday, June 29th, 2019 at 11am, with visitation from 10-11am all at Cedar Valley Church, 8600 Bloomington Ave. S, Bloomington MN 55425.
