

Corso, Jacquelyn Hendren, 67, departed this life April 17,2015, as a result of complications from multiple myeloma. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Dr. Anthony J. Corso; two sons, Gregory J. Corso and Dr. Andrew S. Corso; grandchildren Jack, Theodore and Adelyn Corso; her mother, Olive S. Hendren; and sister, Jennifer Hendren; niece, Lauren A. Beiniks; and nephews Michael and Matthew Mazzeo; a host of other relatives and friends.
Jackie was an avid golfer, and devoted her energy, talent and skills to many volunteer efforts from the Daughters of the American Revolution to the Richmond, VA, Symphony Orchestra League. She and her husband Tony divided their time between Richmond, VA and West Palm Beach, FL. She earned a BA in Fashion and Textiles from the University of California Santa Barbara and a Masters in Education from the University of Rhode Island. She was an event planner and high school teacher. She was a member of St. Ignatius Loyola, Palm Gardens, FL.
The family will receive friends Friday, April 24, from 6-8 p.m. at Woody Funeral Home - Parham Chapel, 1771 Parham Road, Richmond, VA, 23229. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, April 25, at 10 a.m. at St. Bridget Catholic Church, 6006 Three Chopt Road, Richmond, VA, 23226. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Jacquelyn H. Corso be made to Dana Farber Cancer Institute Multiple Myeloma Research, c/o Dr. Paul G. Richardson, 44 Binney St., Boston, MA, 02115.
