I just learned moments ago that Jay passed away in November. I am stunned and devastated. Jay, thank you for your wonderful music, your unfailing friendliness, your marvelous creativity. Chris and I were in awe of the home you built and your talent and hard work that made it happen. I am so very sorry that I didn't get to see and hear you one last time. Play on, my friend, wherever you are; we'll have a sandwich at Bernie's in your honor.

Abba will love you playing guitar for Him and love you for just being you.....

Such a fine man.  Easy company, good humor, rarely an unkind word..  I'll miss having you tromping this earth and look forward to seeing you again bouncing on the clouds.

A truly unique talented person from the first logs we hauled to the home he built withstanding a 5.8 earth quake. To the music he played he left his mark in a big way. Love and miss you Jay
