Joseph Lee Lohr Jr.

LOHR, Joseph Lee, Jr., 64, of Mechanicsville, VA, was called home to his Heavenly Father on Friday, February 1, 2019. He was preceded in death by his parents, Virginia Florence Mitchell Lohr and Joseph Lee Lohr, Sr. Mr. Lohr is survived by three daughters, Jacqueline Kahl, Kristen Tiller and Lauren Lohr; five grandchildren, James Kahl, Austin Mosley, Jackson Tiller, Campbell Tiller and Jordan Tiller; a brother, Barry Lohr; two sisters, Betty Lohr and Carolyn Lohr.

Joey was a master electrician owning his own company, Lohr Electric, for over thirty years. He was always the life of the party, never met a stranger and was quick to warm a room with his sense of humor. He could often be found at Moose Lodge 1947, where he was a devoted member. Joey enjoyed entertaining, cooking and feeding those he loved, being near the water, fishing, riding his Harley, watching Nascar, spending time with his family, many friends and his beloved lifetimes worth of loyal dogs, including his constant companion, Bailey, who was always riding shotgun.

Funeral Services will be held on February 23, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at the Mechanicsville Church of Christ located at 8067 Atlee Road, Mechanicsville, VA 23111. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the ALS Association and/or the American Cancer Society.
