William Richard Inge

William Richard Inge, 46, was born June 22, 1970, in Richmond, VA, but as a teen and beyond spent a lot of time in Nags Head, NC. Wil left us way too soon on May 17, 2017. He was born to hunt, fish, boat, sing, and play the guitar. He graduated from Patrick Henry High School in 1988 and VA Wesleyan College in 1992 with a double major in English and Theatre. He loved singing to his daughters and knew every ditty. He, Avery and Sydney all loved music from Hamilton and others. They all remember words after hearing it once. Wil was quick to tell family and friends he loved them. He was a member of the McShin family and we have been told was very supportive to many. Wil is survived by his daughters: Avery Drew Inge and Sydney Keller Inge; their mother Jennifer Grinnan Inge; his mother Catherine K. Keller; his brother Vernon E. Inge Jr. (Vern) and his three boys Vernon E. Inge III (Trey), Bailey Richard Inge, and Callahan Fitzhugh Inge (Cal); his step-sister Tedi Keller Smith (Tony) and his step-brother Stephen Lee Keller (Mimi) and many other family members.

Wil was preceded in death by his father Vernon E. Inge Sr. (Bill) and his step-father Theodore Sidney Keller (Ted). A memorial service will be held at Brookmeade Sod Farm, 14328 Medley Grove Lane, Doswell, VA, 23047, on Sunday June 11, 2017, at 3:00 p.m. Wil loved the outdoors. His daughters would like for you to wear blue for the color of Wil’s eyes and the ocean.
