Fred showed his devotion to me and to his family in many ways.  One of my fondest memories is the way Fred would see me to my car every morning before I left for my commute to work.  He carried my lunch and basically "tucked me in" the driver's seat, gave me a kiss and told me to drive safely.  He did this every morning for years.  We had our times of strife as every married couple does, however, when I was upset with him, the memory of him walking me to my car every morning and other thoughtful things he did, softened my anger and helped  me to appreciate him instead.  Who can hold on to anger very long in the face of such a tender morning ritual? 

I loved my grandpa and i get very sad thinking about him❤

I remember flying from Vegas to California to see him after my graduation from high school he took me to the mall we went to the nut house and he brought me every kind of almonds I wanted to try.  I miss the days when we would spend alone time together. I love you my wonderful daddy. Save a place in heaven for me. See ya one beautiful day in the sunshine. Gone but never ever going to be forgotten.  You loving daughter. Mary.

I love you brother, Fred, we have not lived close to each other but I always thought of you and the life you made for yourself and your family. You were always a kind and generous person and I miss you. Yes, I'm the oldest brother but I did listen to your thoughts and know they were good and truthful. You have gone to a better place, God will watch over you.

I'm the eldest of his Grandchildren, Shellie Darnell. My most cherished memory of Grandpa is introducing his eldest Great Granddaughter Kaytlan Rose Marie Davis to him. It was an awesome day and we had a lot of fun spending time with him on our last visit. I love you Grandpa and will miss you! Rest in Peace. 

I'm his youngest granddaughter(that I know of), Sharon Darnell. I didn't know him well, but a cherished memory is when he came down to Texas and visited when I lived with Aunt Becky. I loved taking all those family photos together, and he had a good sense of humor, didn't get angry with us onry kids or anything! You'll be missed, Grandpa Fred.

I am Freddie' s oldest daughter, Rebecca.  Daddy I miss you so much.  I know you are in a better place and no longer suffering.  Gone but never forgotten.   Fly high daddy!
