Predeceased by her loving husband, Salvatore E. Proia, her son, Stephen, her daughters, Therese Proia and Nina Rush, and her sister, Laura Reese. She is survived by her beloved children, Sam (Mary) Proia, Mark Proia, Richard (Brenda) Proia, Anita (Edwin) Clark, Alan (Dori) Proia, Lana Turk, Perry (Helen) Proia, and Gina Martin; 28 grandchildren and 13 cherished great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Teresa was very devout in her Catholic faith from a young age. She was an incredibly loving woman and was loved by everyone who knew her.
Relatives and friends may call on Friday, March 1st, from 4-7PM at the Funeral Home of ALVAH HALLORAN & SON, 2125 Chili Ave. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30AM on Saturday, March 2nd, at St. Jude Church, 4100 Lyell Rd. Interment to follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
