I will forever remember Jerry. He lived on our street and was a staple to the neighborhood, seeing him pedal his bike around town was just something you always seen and made you feel at home. He always would stop and chat a bit on his way. His knowledge of baseball was unmatched. He’d always start the convo. With “ how bout those Tigers ?” He was thee most dedicated employee I’ve ever seen. N. C. I. Was very lucky to have him all those yrs. you will be missed my friend. May you R. I. P. 

I first met Jerry  when my family moved into his neighborhood in 1957-58.  He was a few years older than me, but throughout the years he proved to be  one of the nicest, most sincere, and hardworking people I have ever met. And he had a great memory. I would leave the area for years and when I would see him he’d always remember me.  I have quite a few memories, but one that best speaks to his dedication and professionalism was when I saw him at the restaurant he would NEVER speak with me longer than a couple of minutes saying, “I’ve got to get back to work.” And he did. There aren't  many people like that anymore.
I am sorry for his family and friends, because Jerry was indeed a very special person.

I first met Jerry at the Coney Island. He was so friendly that I looked forward to seeing him every time I went to the restaurant. 

I was fortunate to call Jerry a friend when he introduced himself at Sacred Heart Church.  We later volunteered together at the lunch program.

Jerry will forever have a place in my heart.

I first met Jerry over 20 years ago at the McDonalds across from Macomb Mall.   I'd see him at the coney island and around the Gratiot corridor.  When I began my music ministry at St Pio, I saw more of Jerry.  I'll never forget the time I saw him on a nasty winter morning over by the Kroger near the SCS border.  This was around 8:15 in the morning.  I'll say this; Jerry got around as long as he could.  RIP Jerry.

Jerry was a kind soul and a one of a kind guy. His sense of humor always gave me a chuckle.  Coney Island memories were the best!!! Rest easy old friend. ❤️Dawny girl.

Lots of wonderful memories of Macomb Mall.  Loved seeing you always with a smile on your face and never a hash word for anyone.  We will miss you old friend. RIP
