Born in Sacramento, California April 9,1931, passed away in Gold Beach, Oregon December 20, 2020 at the age of 89 years. Sal was a Seaman 1st class in the Navy from 1950-1953. His passion and dream of living by the ocean was fulfilled at the age of 73 years, when he became a resident in Brookings, Oregon.

Beloved father to Sally C. Batalo and husband Dennis E. Gibson and daughter-in-law Debbie Batalo.

Beloved grandfather to Justin, Sal, Cameron and wife Amanda, Monica, Dustin and 3

great-grandchildren, Jesse, Raygan, & Remington.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Barbara C. Batalo and son, Ricky J. Batalo.
