I am sure that the entire family will always remember the kind things Richard did in his lifetime.  He was always kind to me.  I liked his sense of humor.  He knew I made Santa cookies for Steve Doll's kids.  He saw them and asked me where his was.  Of course, I made a large one for him.  His comment was "I knew you would make me one."  "Judy's Mom, " always made a strawberry dessert with layers of pie crust and strawberries.  The whole family liked it, so I made one for them.  I will always remember Richard as a good husband, father, son, and friend to everyone.

Frances, the children, grandchildren, and Judy still have my condolences as he waits for them in heaven.  I will always remember Richard as a good man.  He had a great sense of humor, and he was always very kind to me and helped me when I needed help. 

Brother, I will miss you forever.  I have depended on your strength and relished your humor.  I love you.  Save me a place.

My uncle Richard was such a great guy! He and my aunt Fran have been together since they were children. He was so funny , always telling jokes and stories. We are a very close knit family and losing him is really going to leave a whole in our lives. Sending Love to my aunt and all my cousins . Love you uncle and will miss you always and forever!❤

My daddy was the smartest man I ever knew. If I had a question he had an answer. If he didn't know the answer he would look it up. He would read the entire newspaper from front to back. He and mom were social butterflies with all their neighbors. They would take a walk around the neighborhood and stop and talk to anyone who was outside and their neighbors loved them. I would bring friends home and later my daughters would bring their friends over to meet them and they always made them feel at home. Daddy was a poet, a jokester, quick-witted and loved dry humor. My daughters and grandson got that sense of humor from him. He made life fun for everyone. He loved to travel and explore and took us on so many adventures. He was the best daddy a girl could ask for and I will miss him deeply. 

Judy, Richard's sister, and I were very close friends.  The Yount family was like my second family.  They included me in everything.   There are so many fond memories that it would be impossible to choose a favorite one.  Judy and I even spent vacations in other states with Richard, Frances, and their children.
My deepest sympathy goes to Frances, their children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.  Richard and Judy were very close, and she also has my deepest sympathy.  May Richard spend eternity in the presence of God.

One of my favorite memories of Richard was when he made a crockpot meal he was so proud of making. It was pork chops, peaches, and acorn squash.  That sure was good! Also the four of us use to go to  Suson Park every week fishing. Plus the family camping trips.
I remember him watching hee-haw. Lol
