Carl A. Nielsen

Carl was a hardworking, loving, caring and generous husband, father, Grandfather and friend. He would do anything for his family and friends. He loved to raise animals and farm no matter where he lived - the city included. He loved to cook and try new recipes and always very proud to share with others. Over his lifetime, he had many careers including farmer, truck driver, newspaper carrier, pizza man, teacher and most importantly care taker for his lovely wife Lisa.

Preceded in death by his parents, Karl & Kamilla (nee: Johnson); brothers, Don Johnson & Ray Johnson; and sister, Joyce Hanson.

Survived by wife, Lieselotte Nielsen; sons, Galen Nielsen, Scott (Tonya) Nielsen, and George Nielsen; stepson, Frank Ehrnreiter; stepdaughters, Roseann Ehrnreiter Keicker and Kathy Wilson; grandchildren, Nicole (Sam) Nielsen, Austen Nielsen, Jane Nielsen, Quinn Nielsen, Nena Keicker, Heather Keicker, Alysha Stewart, Heath Ehrnreiter, Brandon Ehrnreiter, BreAna Ehrnreiter, Trishana Ehrnreiter, Noah Walsh, Frankie Ehrnreiter and Ella Walsh; brother, Ken (Kathy) Shearer; sister-in-law, Judy Johnson; and many nieces, nephews and great grandchildren.

A Service of Remembrance for Carl will be held at 11am on Wednesday, November 14th Wulff Funeral Home (1445 White Bear Ave., St. Paul) with Visitation one hour prior to service.
