William “Billy” Harvey Taylor, 86, of Salisbury passed away Sunday, October 2, 2022 at Manokin Manor in Princess Anne. Born February 13, 1936 in Salisbury he was the son of the late Harvey Riley Taylor and Lillie Mae Moore Taylor.
Billy was a truck driver for Phillips Cleaners for over 60 years. He attended Bethel United Methodist Church.
He is survived by two sisters, Dorothy Louise Taylor and Betty Mae Brittingham (Vernon); seven nieces and nephews, Teresa Richards, Belinda Thompson (Michael), Cindy Eckman, Earl Taylor, Jr., Ronald Taylor, Jr. and Matthew Taylor; and several great-nieces and great-nephews, and cousins. He is also survived by his past co-workers who he thought of as family. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Ronald Lee Taylor, Sr. and Earl Raymond Taylor, Sr.
A funeral service will be held Monday at 11am at Bounds Funeral Home on East Main Street in Salisbury where friends may visit one hour prior to the service. Pastor Marc Hannah will officiate. Interment will follow in Springhill Memory Gardens in Hebron.
