Amada M. Sanchez

Amada M. Sanchez, 98, passed away on October 9, 2020. Born on January 20, 1922 in San Antonio, Texas, she is preceded in death by her mother, Julia Escamilla; her beloved husband, Alfredo L. Sanchez; her brother, Raul Martinez and daughter-in-law, Alma Sanchez.

Amada is survived by her children, Margie Allen, Olga Macorro (Gilbert), Betty Rendon (Manuel), Gloria Saldivar (Albert), Alfred Sanchez II, and Yolanda Compian (Eddie); her grandchildren, William Allen, Beverly Allen, Julia Rendon, Gilbert Macorro Jr., Edward Macorro, Albert Saldivar Jr., Yvette Saldivar, Alfred Sanchez III, Johnny Sanchez, Jennifer Sanchez, Denise Sanchez, and Eddie Compian Jr.; and her numerous Great Grandchildren, Great Great Grandchildren, extended family and friends.

Due to restrictions on public gatherings, the Visitation at Funeraria del Angel Trevino – 226 Cupples Rd. 78237 – will be limited to only 50 people. Face coverings are required to be worn at all times.

Family will be receiving friends for a Visitation on Friday, October 16, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with a Prayer Service to begin at 7:00 PM. On Saturday, October 17, a Procession will depart at 8:45 AM and arrive at Westlawn Baptist Church - 330 South San Dario Ave. 78237 – for a Funeral Service at 9:00 AM, with the Burial to follow at San Jose Burial Park – 8235 Mission Rd. 78214.
