It is with great sorrow and deep sadness that we announce that on the afternoon of Thursday March 19th, 2020 - Cathy Donohue Kuehl slipped away from us to be forever at peace in the House of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We will all miss her terribly but she no longer suffers and is once again whole.
Cathy was born January 4, 1959 in San Antonio. She is the daughter of Charles and Bettie Donohue. She was christened Catherine Marie Donohue. She attended Southwest High School and graduated in 1977.
In September of 1994 – she married Robert Kuehl and the two of them loved, worked and played side by side for 25 wonderful years. Cathy had many hobbies that she really loved doing – especially cooking and road trips. She loved going to the beach – two of her favorite places were Galveston which she traveled to with Robert on many occasion and Port Aransas which she traveled to with her sister Sandi. And let’s not forget her other hobby – her cats.
She worked many years in the typesetting and composition trade and later as a partner in Visual Graphics. Soon after, she went to work for FasClampitt Paper Store in San Antonio and worked for them for almost 24 years until her untimely departure.
She was preceded in death by her father Charles Donohue, his wife Rose, and her brother Michael Donohue.
Survivors include her husband – Robert Kuehl; her mother – Bettie; her sister – Sandi Boutin and husband Pete; her brother and his wife – Dan and Sandy; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Arrangements will be made for a memorial service at a later date when it is once again safe to congregate. We know that many will miss Cathy very much as her life touched so many people. We look forward to celebrating Cathy’s life with you when we are all able to be together.
Special thanks go to those that helped Cathy in this battle; we will always appreciate your kindness.
