Genoveva (Beva) Guardiola Alonzo, passed away April 4, 2018. She was born on June 25, 1936, to Roberto and Isabel Guardiola in Coy City, TX. She was a devoted wife, nurturing mother, loving grandmother, and a proud great-grandmother. Most importantly, she was a home maker that spent her life devoted to her family. She was a beautiful, sensitive soul that always put others before herself. She touched many lives and had an amazing ability to make everyone feel special. Her motherly nature and warmth will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Genoveva is survived by her husband, Nicolas Alonzo, daughter, Elsa Alonzo, and sons, Carlos Alonzo, Roland and Lisa Alonzo, grandchildren, Tiffany Chapa, Cynthia and David Dowdy, Carlos Alonzo Jr., Dominique and Allen Roose, Roland and Gabby Alonzo, Jr., Nicole Alonzo, Noah Alonzo and 5 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Monday, April 23, 2018, at Trevino Funeral Home, a Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. The Mass will be celebrated at St. Jude Catholic Church Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at 12.00 p.m. Interment to follow at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery at 1:45 p.m.
