Marjorie Ann Lemire passed away at the age of 80 in San Antonio, TX. She was born on May 26, 1939 in Carmine, TX to Adolph and Elsie Mackenroth. She is preceded in death by parents; son: Jay Lemire; sisters: Nora Rhames, Doris Bosse, Vernell Foyt. She is survived by her husband of 54 years: Bruce Lemire; daughter: Lisa Lemire and other family members and friends.
She worked in a variety of financial institutions as a teller and a bookkeeper early in her life. Then she left her working career to become a stay at home mom to raise her children. There she developed the passion of sewing and doing other crafts. She also got involved with her church where she would help host the parties, every party had a theme. She was a loving wife, mother and friend who will be greatly missed.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 16, 2019 at 10:30am at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 1129 Pat Booker Rd, Universal City, TX 78148. A committal service will be held on Monday, August 19, 2019 at 9:45am at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her name to the American Cancer Association, 8115 Datapoint Dr, San Antonio, TX 78229 or to The Christ the King Lutheran Church.
