Johanna's natural talents in science and medicine, culminated with her retirement from nursing after 10 years at Sharp Memorial Hospital. Family and friends will always recall her selflessness, incredible love, and generosity to everyone around her.
A celebration of life will be held in the coming months, and will be announced through family members. In lieu of flowers, Johanna would have appreciated any charitable gifts to the Braille Institute, to help individuals and their families cope with blindness.
