Marie de Ramirez

April 10, 1921 – February 28, 2016

Marie passed away peacefully in the house she loved so much with loved ones by her bedside. Born in Los Angeles, California. Marie was the daughter of Joseph and Jennie Lombino and sister of John Lombino. She attended Roosevelt High and continued to nurture and cherish her friendship over the years. She was the wonderful and loving mother of two daughters, Kathee Rogers who passed in 1988, and Jenna Petrotta. She married the love of her life Robert de Ramirez in 1954. He introduced her to the exciting life of dance. And together they taught Ball Room dancing privately and at the Jonathan Club in Los Angeles where they made lifelong friends. Their life together was a true love story until Robert’s passing in 1984.

Marie’s life was long and full, filled with the love of many friends and family. She loved travel, reading, cooking, Bingo, and Dance. She was a quitted piano player, and had endless compassion for animals.

We will forever remember her beauty, her warmth and her love for family and friends.

She survived by her Daughter, Jenna Petrotta; Brother, John Lombino; Grandson, Jeff Rogers, Adela, Great grandchildren, Abigail, Olivia and David.
