John Adron Anderson Sr.

John Anderson, Sr. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather brother, Uncle and friend. John is survived by his loving wife, Lillie of 58 years of marriage. He was a strong Loving father to: John Jr. Eric, Charles Robinson and Vivian Robison (Davis). Loving Grand Father to: Renee and Victoria Anderson, Dalyne and Dane Davis, Cass, Monet, and Tia Robinson, Brother to: Linda Anderson (Robinson), Uncle to: Anthony, Billy Jr, Lynette Robinson, Reggie Knight, Regina Knight (Chambers), Mellony Knight, Kathy Knight and several cousins, special friends to the Abella family.

John was born in Pine Bluff, Arkansas to the union of Soloman and Mary Lee Anderson, he was raised in Palo Alto, Ca from the age of five, and he became a San Jose resident in 1962. He was a graduate of Palo Alto High school, very strong student in Math, he was small in stature but packed a dynamite blow in the following sports, Football, track and field 100 yard dash record holder to date, wrestling and a Golden glove boxer. John served six years in the United States Marine Corps, he received the National Defense Service medal, good conduct medal, and earned an Honorable Discharge in 1959.

John received Christ into his heart early in age and was a member of Antioch Baptist Church of San Jose, Ca. His Hobbies were, Fishing, Gardening, playing Dominoes, and word puzzles. He is loved by us all, he will be missed by many, and he will remain forever in our hearts.
