OMG, I just found out about Pete's passing.  Mary you probably won't see this...it's been a year but you are in my thoughts and prayers.  I know the blessing is he is finally out of pain.  . Peter Sarar was my best friend through grade school and high school. We lost contact in the late 1970's, but I thought about him a lot over the years. I was shocked to learn of his death a few days ago. I still remember his parents and the times we spent together as we grew up. Rest In Peace, my dear friend.

My deepest condolences for your loss. Mr. Sarar was my favorite teacher at LHS. I was in his German class.

RIP Peter. Your father was my mothers uncle. We live in Germany and have heard this today.

I will light a candle for you after work today.
