Mrs. Mary Louretta Edmonds Pate, age 102, passed away on Saturday, June 2, 2018. She was a native of Vineland, AL and a longtime resident of Mobile, AL. She is preceded in death by her first husband, Edward Comer Kiker, second husband of 34 years, Burl Wesley Pate and children; Dorothy Louise Vick, Ruth Kiker Smith, Bobby Joyce Thornton, Edward Comer Kiker, Jr. and Donna Fay Brockett. Mrs. Pate is survived by her daughter, Sheryl Ann Willis (Danny) and son, Greg Wesley Pate. She is also survived by her sister, Frances Chaney of Cantonement, FL, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and other family. The family would like to express their gratitude to Patricia Lambert for her loving and tender care of Mrs. Pate, she was always happy to see her come every day and she always made her smile, Asera Care for their wonderful staff, her nurses, Julie Davis, Wanda Campbell and Chaplain Al Pettaway. Mary was a member of Havenwood Baptist Church, Semmes, AL, a member of Eastern Star, Toulman Chapter, the Senior Center in Wilmer and Golden Age Club in Chickasaw.
