Janice was born in Elgin, IL on November 23, 1936.
Elgin was her home until retirement. When Jan’s children were in school, she was the typical Mom – PTA, Scouts, Little League; and a school crossing guard. Later she pursued a real estate career, founding First Choice Realty. There wasn’t a For Sale sign she could pass up; house for sale, estate sale, yard sale, or garage sale. In 2001 Jan retired to Florida where For Sale signs still caught Jan’s attention. She also started to learn about jewelry making, loved Bingo and her Friday nights at the Eagles.
Janice is survived by her children Kate, Mike, Ron; grandchildren Ron, Valerie, Justine; sisters Joanne, Jackie, Joyce.
Memorial service arrangements in Florida will be scheduled for a later date, and interment will be private.
