Joan Elizabeth Eberle (Joanie), 81, of Sarasota Florida passed away on August 9th,2018. Memorial service will take place from 9am-12pm on September 8th , 2018 at National Cremation and Burial Society, 2990 Bee Ridge Road, Sarasota, Florida 34239. Rev. Elizabeth Thompson will be officiating.
Joan was born in Brooklyn, New York on December 15, 1936. Joan was married to Robert Eberle on April 18th, 1958 they were married 29 years. Joan worked with Sarasota County School Food Service department for 19 years. Kmart Food Department 15 years. She opened up a home Daycare with her daughter in 2007. She enjoyed rocking babies and spending time with family and friends, and seeing plays at The Players Threatre. Joan gave to a variety of charities: Wounded Vets, Seeing Guide Dogs, Children in India list goes on… She volunteered at Meals on Wheels for 12 years.
Joan is survived by children Donna Eberle, Robert Eberle Jr., Doreen Eberle, William Eberle. Grandchildren Shay Eberle-Gunst, Mayze Eberel-Gunst, Delaney Eberle, Kalin Eberle, Tosh Averill, Hope Averill, and other family and friends.
