OBITUARY

Joseph Shields

17 February, 1920 – 21 September, 2011
Lt. Col Joseph F. Shields, 91, of Venice died Sept. 21, 2011.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Bay Indies Evangelical Covenant Church. National Cremation and Burial Society is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include son, Martin of Atlanta, Ga.; daughters, Deborah Wollam of Washington Court House, Ohio, Claudia Wensel of Tustin, Calif. and Ellen Budde of Safety Harbor; a brother, Donald of Seattle, Wash.; ten grandchildren; five great grandchildren

and special friend, Rose Martin.
