Karl Richard "Rick" Lehmann unexpectedly passed away in his Venice home on Thursday March 17, 2016 at the age of 47. Rick was born in Hackensack, NJ on July 19, 1968 and moved to Venice in 1972. He attended Venice High School. Rick was the owner and operator of R.L. Concrete, Inc. and took pride in his work. Rick's family was most important to him. Rick was blessed to have many lifelong friendships and was a loyal, dependable friend to many. He had a passion for antique cars. He is survived by his wife, Karen (Shumate) of 23 years and his 3 sons, Wyatt (18), Garrett (16) and Colton (10). His mother, Diane Lehmann, stepfather, George Finch and sister, Karla. He is an uncle to 3 nieces and 3 nephews. He is proceeded in death his father, Karl Lehmann. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at the South Venice Civic Association, 720 Alligator Drive, Venice, FL 34293. In lieu of flowers, a college fund is set up for his three children.
