

Michael (Mike) Joseph Mikulin, 84, passed away on Thursday, November 1, 2018 in Bradenton, FL. He was born in Ravena, Ohio on 7/5/1934. He is an honored Veteran who served in the Korean War in the early 1950’s. Michael retired from Electrolux after spending many years as an auditor and traveling much of the United States. He was a devoted family man, an avid gardener, athlete and fan.
Michael spent about 20 years living in the Bradenton/Ellenton Florida area. He is the last child of 14 born to his parents, Barbara (Sancic) and Joseph Mikulin. His parents and siblings have preceded him in death. He is also preceded in death by his wife of 43 years Kathleen (Snyder) Mikulin in 1999. Michael has five children who survive him: Christine Mikulin, Sheila Mikulin, Susan Mikulin, Cynthia McCullough and her husband William, and Michael Mikulin and his wife Tonya. He has 4 grandchildren who he loved dearly: Raisha Bedingfield, Rosalie McCullough, Molly Mikulin and Jill Mikulin all of Ohio.
He met and enjoyed many people throughout his life, but especially during his time in Florida. His companion Helen Duffield, for the past 17 years, and he spent many years traveling the United States and golfing. During the past years, Helen’s love and support enabled him to remain in his home as his health changed. There are many people who assisted him, but Amy from Amedisys Home Health is outstanding and very compassionate.
Per Michael’s wishes there will be no formal service.
