Shirli Cohn Brody, "Teddy," passed away on Sept. 7, 2011. Born on Sept. 6, 1925 in McKeesport, Pa., daughter of Rose (Rosenblum) and Louis Cohn, she was married to Morton Brody, who predeceased her, for sixty-two years.
She was the mother of Rosemary (Brown,) Sara Brody, who predeceased her, Adam Brody and grandmother of Josh Brown, Jeremy Brown and Chris Brody.
Teddy was a lifelong lover or literature, music and art, and a distinguished watercolorist and needlepoint designer and creator.
A gathering of friends will be held on Sunday, Sept. 11 from 2 to 4 in the McIntyre Room at the Glenridge on Palmer Ranch in Sarasota.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Oxfam America or Jewish National Fund.
