

Born Jan. 28, 1928 in Rome, Italy; he was the son of Leonardo and Grazieta Ascoli. He lived in various countries, three continents, before immigrating to the United States in the late 60s. He worked as a mechanical engineer in the state of Tennessee and retired to Florida with his loving wife of 50 years, Olga Ascoli.
Mr. Ascoli was very passionate about music and enjoyed singing opera. In addition to this, the most important legacy he left his beloved family members and close friends, was one of a lifetime of optimal health, fitness, and abounding adoration for life. His family was by far, the most treasured part of his life and their memories of him and all that he represented will be forever cherished. He was a member of the Roman Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife, Olga Ascoli; daughter, Silvana, husband Phillip, and three grandchildren, Gabriel, Karine, Sofia; son Juan and wife Judy, and son Fabian.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to the TideWell Hospice or American Cancer Society in memory of Silvano Ascoli. Friends and family may sign the Guestbook at National Cremation.com
National Cremation & Burial Society of Sarasota is in charge of arrangements. Private services are planned for a later date.
