Steven was born in Falmouth, MA and moved to Florida at the age of 10. He leaves behind his mom, Wendy; brother, Jon; sons 16 yr old, Nick and Ryan; grandfather, Dan; in addition to many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Steve was a kind, loving person who cared greatly for his family. He was a true friend and always tried to do his best for others.
Steve was a great chef and loved making gourmet meals for everyone. He had recently completed his business plan to open his own restaurant, which was a lifelong dream. He had chosen the name, "That Guy's". He had an amazing sense of humor and was extremely creative and imaginative which brought light and laughter to those around him. He was larger than life via his personality and actual physical size. People that were around him loved him and wanted to follow him anywhere he went. He never shied away from giving solid advice on life. He attended Sarasota Schools and he played football at Cardinal Mooney High School his senior year.
An avid movie and book buff, he could quote all the lines from his favorite movies and books. Some of his favorites included the Aliens series, Star Wars, Game of Thrones, Godzilla, Marvel series and any Special Forces stories he could find.
His love of body building led to his career choice as a certified personal trainer. For a short time he was involved with the body builders competition in Sarasota and St. Petersburg.
A private viewing will be held on Tuesday, April 28th at the National Cremation Society on Bee Ridge rd. due to gathering limitations. The family will have a proper funeral when stay at home restrictions are lifted.
